I am a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Scientist in the UK and a Certified Professional Geologist in the USA with more than 28 years experience in engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, tunneling, mining, forensic engineering and expert testimony. I have been involved with more than 200 projects in 20 countries.

What I Do

My speciality is the ground, the way it behaves and applying appropriate methods of construction.

I advise contractors, owners, designers, legal professions, insurers and government on engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, tunneling, hydropower and mining.

I act as an expert witness in tunneling, geotechnical and geological disputes and undertake forensic investigations.
